Why Camel’s neck is bent?

Once Akbar promised Birbal that he would present him valuables articles in appreciation of his wisdom. Birbal accepted.

Few day passed Akbar forgot his promise.

Birbal reminded him several times. But Akbar didn’t give his ears.Birbal didn’t get any presents.

After two months, Akbar one fine day was sitting on the bank of Yamuna river. Birbal also came at that movement. Akbar called him and showed him a camel.

Akbar asked Birbal:”Birbal, why camel’s neck is slant and bent?”

Birbal replied: “Huzur! The scriptures tell us that those who don’t keep up promises are punished like this. Perhaps this camel might have done some mistake. That’s why god has punished that.”

Akbar was astonished. He suddenly remembered his promises give to Birbal. He took Birbal to his place and presented him valuable jewels.
