Loomba was a very handsome lion cub. His parents were
very proud of their son’s good looks. But Loomba was never happy with his
looks. One day while Loomba was playing
hide and seek with Jolly the parrot, he said, “wish I could be like you,
Jolly.” “Why don’t you go to the magic
tree, Nalpatara, and ask him for help,” suggested Jolly.
So Loomba went to get
himself changed. Nalpatara granted his wish and changed the Loomba lion kid
like a parrot. Finding himself all green
with a red beak and red belt around his neck, Loomba was very happy till he met Tinku the sparrow. Now he wanted to look
like the sparrow. He went to Nalpatara tree and asked that he wanted to look
like Tinku. So he now became tiny Tinku. He flew around happily and sat on Elly
the elephant. Loomba then wished to become like Elly. But he felt awkward
because of his huge size. “Oh Nalpatara, Please make me a lion cub once again,”
begged Loomba.
He was happy when his
friends came and told him that he looked best as the way he always was a
handsome lion cub.
Moral: Moral of the story is being happy the way you
are and everyone will like you.
